Meet Josh
Welcome to Josh Gardner Golf Instruction! My name is Josh Gardner and I'm a lifelong lover of the game of golf.
As a graduate of Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, I had the good fortune to travel around the country to work at such prestigious golf facilities as Pebble Beach Resorts, Harbour Town Golf Links and the American Junior Golf Association. In my time at Methodist, I also earned a position on the 10-time Division III National Champion Men's Golf Team. Upon completion of my degree, I was elected into the PGA of America in February 2008 and have been a PGA Professional for nearly 7 years.
After moving to south Florida in 2010, I became the 1st Assistant Golf Professional at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club and had the opportunity to be mentored as a teacher of the game by Golf Digest Top 50 Instructor in the state of Florida, Mike Malizia.
As of 2014, I have proudly focused my career as a full-time teaching professional at Martin Downs Golf Club in Palm City.

Josh Gardner Golf Instruction exists to make people happy and enhance their love of golf. I believe it is my personal responsibility to spread joy to everyone I meet. Each of our lives has ultimately equipped us with tools to fashion gladness in the world. My primary one happens to be the game of golf. I believe it is my purpose to use my talents as a golf professional to motivate, encourage, inspire and delight others while improving golfing ability. I am confident with my help you will enjoy this wonderful game and it will bring greater happiness and well-being to your life.

My favorite golf course I've ever played is a tie between Cypress Point Club in Pebble Beach, California and Tot Hill Farm Golf Club in Asheboro, North Carolina.

I have had one hole-in-one. I scored my only ace when I was 17 years old on the 154-yard, 9th hole at Tryon Country Club in Tryon, North Carolina.
